Hey all^^ My first 2010 post here on Vox keke^^ and I've decided to show my favourite performances from the three Gayo Daejuns // Music Festivals~ I don't think I'll be able to remember which performances are from which channel's Gayo Daejuns but I'm sure if you search for it or follow the youtube link then it'll be easy to find out ne~^^ I was able to watch all three shows live through online streaming so thank you to the Kara fan who streamed for us XD

The first performance that I can remember clearly ... SHINee performing Just Dance by Lady Gaga^^

This performance was just pure win. As soon as I see that SHINee are gonna perform, I always anticipate something awesome ... and I'm never disappointed really haha :] Their presence on stage is just gahh and I found their outfits are extremely eye-catching haha but somehow .. they manage to pull it off and gahh Minho and those chunky sunglasses hahaha Key and that cyclops kinda thingy and Taemin and that kinda sparkly baggy thingy haha. I absolutely adore the way Taemin dances ... if only I could dance like that eh~ :D This song really suits Onew's voice well ... though I couldn't hear Jong as much as normal.

I'm not gonna post up this Gayo Daejun's RDD perf 'cause Taemin's mic didn't work lol XD

Hey everyone!!!

I just wanna say that yesterday, my family and I were watching a documentary about the tsunami that happened a few years back ... and I just hope that nothing like that happens again ... I pray for all those who lost their lives that day and for their families and friends. I hope we all appreciate the people we hold dear and treasure the moments we have with them.

I guess this is my last post for 2009 ... and I can't help but feel a little sad ... 2009 has been a year which holds a lot of memories ne~ ... happy memories, sad memories, laughable memories, friendships, achievements, dreams, disappointments ... you name it~ It's all been in this year. I went on holiday this year too ... to Vietnam ... and I miss my family so much~ ... gah, this was definitely a year to remember.

I've just realised that I haven't posted much this year... compared to last year's number XD But that was 'cause of schoolwork and the holiday with bad internet so that holds most of the blame lol. I hope in 2010, I will be able to post more though... I felt kinda bad abandoning my Vox for a few months lol XD

But yeah, looking back on the year ... I feel ... iono ... is nostalgic the word? lol 2009 has been a memorable year. This past year I got my Latin Cambridge Certificate XD HAHA For the end of year exam in Latin ... and I passed so I got this certificate loool ... and I sat my first GCSE exams ... getting As in both :] I saw family ... I realised my true dreams and how hard and nearly obsessive I am at trying to accomplish them. I've seen the true sides of people ... both good and bad and I've got plenty more experiences but I don't wanna bore you all XD.

The happiest and most enjoyable part this year was when my family and I visited our relatives in Vietnam~^^
A-M-A-Z-I-N-G.

The saddest ... I'm guessing the data loss on my external drive ... but my family and I did all the work again ... duplicated the work in fact so ... we're fine and dandy now lol.

I feel optimistic about the new year~ and I'm gonna bring back the quote from last year I got in my fortune cookie keke^^

"All your dreams can come true, if you have the courage to pursue them~~"

This year, as I've said, I've realised and accepted my dreams for the future~ Dreams for my career, dreams for my family, dreams that I hope I will be able to achieve and accomplish because I sincerely want them to come true lol.

You gotta work hard for your dreams ... if your dreams could be achieved easily then ... it wouldn't be a dream ne~ Keep persevering and persisting and think of how happy and satisfied you will be when you've accomplished it~ it will truly be worthwhile if you treasure it ... and plus, you've shown how hard you can work ne~ and what potential lies within~ ... I'm not a person good with words but I know that we all have dreams we hope and wish for. If your dreams are truly what you want, I think you should aim to achieve them ne~ So that all our hopes and wishes come true. We know it won't be easy ... but it'll make you so happy ... and all your family, friends, supporters keke^^

I've been saying this everywhere ... on my facebook and everything lol but

I will make 2010 my year. I will hopefully be at least one step closer to my dreams keke^^~

Happy New Year to you all and I hope you spend the day with those you love. Let's do our best. Let's make 2010 our year. 

I welcome 2010 with open arms keke^^ Have an optimistic outlook for the year and maybe, just maybe, this will be the best year for us yet~ ^^

Just a quick post. Just finished watching SBS Gayo Daejun and 2PM totally pwned the whole show with all their performances .. wish I saw more SHINee though lol XD Wasn't as great as last year's but it was awesome nonetheless. GD, Taeyang <3 GD and CL <3 haha :] 2AM and BEG :] I might embed some vids later on if I'm not too busy...

Tomorrow I'll be watching the other Daejun too ... gotta find the websites though haha

I didn't post about the Dong Bang situation because I wasn't here when it first appeared, I was in Vietnam on holiday lol and decided to not go on allkpop and the likes because it's time for family and 'cause ... the internet connection wasn't reliable lol XD

But basically ... after I arrived back to England and bombarded the internet ... I found out about the court cases ... To be very honest ... I wasn't that surprised about the "slave contracts" but I didn't think it would be as ridiculous as this. With the whole "You can't rest, even if you are ill or else the contract is longer" etc. etc.

I mean come on .... that is seriously unfair and ridiculous. I know that they signed the contracts but I they take advantage of how desperate people are to debut ... and they were MINORS when they signed it... doesn't that count for anything? They were not mature enough to sign an official document like that and I know how parents permission is needed but ... 13 years? ... These are life contracts ... I mean COME ON.

And now even Hangeng Gege Hankyung Oppa (I know they mean different things but I like to use these phrases haha) ... watch when all of SMTown will file cases against SM. 

Yes SM... you train awesome people and debut awesome people and produce good music but ... come on now. They're not immortal. They do get ill. They need to be treated fairly, as HUMANS. Pssssh... I want them all to continue as one unit, as one group but have FAIR contracts ... argh. I don't want anyone to disband but really, SM ... come on now.

They don't even get DECENT pay ... bahh.

I was upset when I read Kyu's message ... >_< ... I'm just thinking though, if everyone filed a case against SM ... would SM win? ... I'm sure this is much more complex than me typing this but they're all treated like this and all under "slave contracts" right? ... Hmm ... I wonder what will happen.

Please 2010, be a good year for everyone.

Merry Christmas~ Seasons Greetings <3

Okay ... well ... I love singing (and music~ I know a violin, recorder, a bit of piano) ... I've loved it since I was young ... I was in choir in my Primary School and was made to go to so many competitions and so many solos hehe :] Those were the days~

But ... ever since I've arrived at Secondary School ... I've been bombarded with work, I need to PAY? for singing lessons if I were to take any at my school (and it's quite a lot of moolah for this) that I don't really sing anymore ... even though my parents wanted me to but like ... all that money? ... I think singalongs are serving me well right now hehe^^

Well ... I'm thinking of e-mail auditioning for SM and JYP (though I must say I would love to join JYP more (if I got accepted) 'cause of the whole fair contracts thingy but ... for me education comes first (in England, London!! btw! not schooling anywhere else haha) But ... these are just thoughts and imaginings for if I do actually get in ... though this is very doubtful so it's just daydreams atm~ haha (sorry about my rambles)

Anywho ... my friends have been pressuring me to start singing again (though I do sing a lot at home ... just not at school lol) and recently, with the snow and stuff, the school day schedule was kinda weird cause of the snow and 'cause it was the last day of school ... some of my friends didn't come so I decided to chillax with the friends that were there and a person I was close with before asked me to go join them so I couldn't really say no eh~

And then we went to the mini recording studio thingy in my school (it sounds so posh but it's really not) and were just playing round... then I was all in the singing mood 'cause come on ... I'm surrounded by instruments and whatnot in that room and my friend was like "Oh, if I learn the piano part to a song, will you sing to it?" and I don't know why but I foolishly agreed to it ... and can't back out .... and she emailed me later on telling me that she's trying her best to learn Utada Hikaru's - Come Back To Me piano part ... (she knows I listen to KPop, JPop, CPop and all that :D) and .... honestly ... I'm kinda nervous ... singing at home is different to singing in front of people but I love that rush ... haha ... but now I'm thinking that ... if this goes well.... I may record it and .... POSSIBLY post it up here to see what people think? (Though I'm MIGHTY SCARED TO DO THAT!!!! haha) well this was just me ranting about ... er .... me lol so .... I applaud you if you got down to reading this far
